I can't believe I haven't posted anything in over a month...where does the time go? Quickly, Halloween was great - the kids did their thing that night, came home and gorged on treats and completely forgot about them by the next day so I threw them out. Perfect halloween as far as I'm concerned. :)
In more exciting and recent news though, we just got back from a fantastic week down south in Punta Cana with our neighbours. I'm still clinging to my tan although it's fading fast... :( What a great time we had though. I'm telling you if you are looking for somewhere hot to go with your kids we've had great luck with Punta Cana.
We went a few years ago and also had great weather and fabulous accommodations. This time we stayed at "Dreams Palm Beach" and I have never met nicer staff. So friendly and a lot of fun. Of course the company we went with made the trip what it was. Such a relaxing week filled with lots of laughs and great memories... can't wait to do it again next year!!

Its so hard to be home in this colder cloudy weather without getting completely depressed but with Christmas just around the corner I think I should be able to find something to smile about :) This weekend Iain and I are off (without the kids) to Montreal. Mini vacation for us! Our friends are getting married there so we turned it into a weekend getaway. Really looking forward to doing some shopping, sleeping in and enjoying some QT alone with my hubby.
Monday I'm diving head first into my Christmas shopping though- I haven't even started...which is so unlike me. I just haven't got any great ideas for the kids this year. I will start thinking about it next week though. Focusing on the weekend away right now... :)
