What a gorgeous day we had off to spend with the family. No trips to the arena for a change and the sun was shinning so we bundled up and headed out to the conservation area for a hike thru the snow.
Even after doing the trails we decided we still weren't ready to go back inside so we drove down to the lake to skip rocks and let the kids play.
It was so nice to get some snow this past weekend and then the sun came out to top it all off making this such a beautiful long weekend. The perfect break from the hustle and bustle that is our everyday life. We got to chat about our upcoming trips, talk about some goals for this summer ie. finally getting all of our kids and myself riding our bikes outside. We decided to go to Boston for our annual getaway from the kids over the July long weekend and we are going to try to get away with our neighbours again in November. It was a much needed chill day that I do feel was somewhat productive. I'm now refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the month.
