Happy Easter!

We are so happy to see a few signs of spring this week.  The snow is melting and the kids are venturing outside a lot more.  Bikes, skateboards and roller blades are all being tested out.  Vanessa keeps announcing every Robin she spots.
This past Easter weekend Ty was invited up to the cottage with his cousins so Iain and I only had the 2 little ones.  It is sooo much easier having only 2 kids - and it's not that Ty is difficult at all but for some reason when Vanessa and Troy are alone they can play together for hours with no conflict.
They had a lot of fun looking for eggs Easter morning and both donated some of their findings to Ty's Easter basket so he'd have some treats when he got home.  

 We headed over to my parents for a delicious Easter dinner with everyone. Always so nice to get together with my family.  The kids decorated eggs and had a great time with their cousins - as always.

Ethan's black eye is from a game of soccer in gym class, knee to the eye...ouch!

We are enjoying our last day off relaxing at home,  although Troy has skating at 1pm, Vanessa has horseback riding at 3:30pm then she has tutoring 5:30pm.  So we're relaxing this morning at least.
