A great ending to 2013...

What a crazy month but so much fun.  Perfect way to end this year off.  The boys had a couple hockey tournaments, Vanessa had a gymnastics show, Troy's school put on a fabulous concert, Iain and I made it downtown for a couple nights out - one party with my brother and the second time to watch the Leafs play the Red Wings. I took the kids downtown on the Go train to go have lunch with Iain one afternoon then my brother (Ryan) took them to see the play Alladin and for a sleep over in Uncle Ry's fancy condo.  They LOVED it! We made Gingerbread houses, decorated the house & Christmas tree,  survived the ice storm, went sledding...and of course celebrated Christmas for 3 days with Iain's mom & Larry, my family and Iain's dad and sister. Finally our yearly visit with our friends the Heffords in their unbelievable basement theatre...   It has been a fantastic fun filled month!

We are laying low the rest of the year - Iain had to go back into work for a couple days so I've been packing up  the Christmas decorations while the kids enjoy playdates with their friends.  Feeling so happy and grateful to have the friends and family that we have been able to enjoy this past year with.  Looking forward to all that 2014 will bring.
Happy New Year!!
