What a gorgeous weekend to celebrate Iain's birthday! Friday night we invited family over for cake & ice cream. The kids had a great time and Iain was so happy with his new BBQ and BBQ accessories.
Saturday morning the kids woke up and right away wanted to play in the backyard. They were outside from 9am until 6pm with a little break for Vanessa's nap and Ty's lacrosse practice.
Ty had a great time at lacrosse this weekend. They even had a little scrimmage match. I think he just loves his equipment and uniform and being a part of a team. He is starting to pick up the actual sport pretty well but for now just loves to run with the crowd and bump the other kids. It's so cute!
Saturday night celebrated Iain and our neighbour Corrado's birthday with an "adults night out". We had a delicious dinner then headed to Yuk-Yuks for some laughs.
To finish the perfect weekend off Iain cooked hamburgers & hot dogs for dinner on his new BBQ. I can not believe the difference some nice weather can make on our moods. We even woke up happy on this Monday morning looking forward to the day. I know it's supposed to rain tonight and cool off by the end of the week but for now we are just going to enjoy what we've got.
